Wheaton the man to get work done
Editor, In these days of extreme politics, I find myself uniquely qualified to guide my fellow voters in choosing the right candidate for Tulare County Office of Education Superintendent of Schools. Craig Wheaton is that candidate.
I have been in education for more than 40 years, both as a teacher and an administrator. I am a sitting board member of a small, rural school district, and I am also a board member of a private non-profit institution.
I have been in agriculture and farming all of my life, and I was so fortunate to raise my three children on our citrus ranch. They attended a very small school, which enjoyed the many classroom educational services from the County Superintendent’s office.
However, what I am most proud of is, I am the chairman of the School Site Council at Porterville Union High School and I have been able to contribute to the ongoing success of this very large, complex campus.
I know what works for our rural school districts. I know what works for our large school districts, and Craig Wheaton is the man to get the work done. He is presently the Deputy Superintendent of Schools for the Tulare County Office of Education. He knows the budget, the staff, the daily demands, and most importantly, he knows the needs of all our schools.
With Craig Wheaton at the helm, the transition to a new Superintendent will be smooth, error free, and our students will not miss a single step.
I urge you to join me in voting for Craig Wheaton. For Tulare County Superintendent of Schools.
