Cecil Edward Mauck
Cecil was born on October 1, 1933 in Hochatown, OK. He went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2018 in Bakersfield, CA.
Cecil moved to Glennville, CA in 1947 with his family. He attended high school in Santa Paula, CA. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1950 and was based out of Sanpedro, CA. Upon discharge from the Navy in 1954 he returned home to his family in Strathmore, CA and married Joyce Jackson. He had been employed, throughout his working career with Spalding Lumber vard, Rich Bros Lumber and Don Foster Church Construction of Fresno, CA as a construction superintendent.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Marcellus Mauck and Callie Mauck, wife Joyce Mauck, his sons Lonnie Mauck and Benny Mauck, brother Billie Mauck, sister Lois Jackson.
He is survived by his sons Ronnie Mauck and wife Jo Nell of Porterville and Tommie Mauck and wife Cheryl Mauck of Bakersfield, daughters Barbara Mauck of Strathmore and Pamela Mauck of Virginia, 17 grandchildren, 35 greatgrandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, brothers Elvie Mauck of Missouri, Donald Mauck and wife Genetta of Strathmore, Marcie Mauck and wife Susan of Porterville, sisters Lavada Woody and Frances Loyd of Lindsay.
Cecil passed away at the age of 85 under the dignified care of Hoffman Hospice of Bakersfield that provided his comfort and care in a beautiful peaceful setting. Prior to his admittance to the Hoffman Hospice Home facility, he had been under the loving care of his son Tommie Mauck and daughter in-law Cheryl Mauck.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions be made in honor of Cecil Mauck to Hoffman Hospice Home, a nonprofit organization located at 4401 Buena Vista Rd, Bakersfield, CA 93311.
Memorial Services will be held in honor of Cecil at the Bakersfield National Cemetery on December 14, 2018 at 12:30 pm located at 30338 Bear Mountain Blvd off Hwy 58 at the 223 turn off to Arvin. Located outside of Bakersfield, CA.
