MONDAY The Porterville
Women’s Club general membership meetings are held the first Monday of each month from October through May at the Airway Cafe. The social portion of the meeting begins at 11 a.m., a business meeting follows at 11:30 a.m., a luncheon is held at noon and a program follows lunch. TUESDAY Pack 139 Cub Scouts,

Breakfast Lions Club
meets at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesdays at the Elks Lodge at 386 N. Main St. in Porterville. Rotary Club meets at noon on Tuesdays at El Nuevo Mexicali II Restaurant at 640 N. Prospect St. in Porterville. White River Prospectors, the Porterville Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America, meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Gold Hills Clubhouse at 720 E. Worth Dr. in Porterville. The meetings, and membership in the chapter, are free and open to the public. Members participate in gold panning, prospecting, metal detecting, outings and informative meetings. Teaching opportunities are also available.
