LOS ANGELES Bail denied for alleged white supremacist accused in brawls

Bail has been denied for the second time for an alleged member of a white supremacist group that's suspected of inciting violence at California political rallies last year.

City News Service reports a judge on Tuesday affirmed a previous ruling that Aaron Eason is a danger to the community.

Eason's lawyer denied that the 38-year-old has ties to the militant Rise Above Movement. But prosecutors countered that emails sent by Eason show he was closely associated with the group and that he participated in hand-to-hand combat training in preparation for the rallies.

Officials say the group planned and carried out attacks at 2017 gatherings in Huntington Beach, Berkeley and San Bernardino.
