Parks and Rec: The Corporate Games are coming
Is your business ready for the challenge? Let the games begin! The 9th annual Porterville Corporate Games will officially start competition on September 7.
What is Corporate Games? This premier business- to- business contest brings local organizations of all sizes together for a variety of fun and entertaining activities all while vying for the most accumulated points and ultimately, ownership of the coveted Corporate Cup. Some of this year’s events include cornhole, volleyball, archery, a scavenger hunt, bowling, footgolf, basketball challenge, and an obstacle course.
Why get involved? There are a number of benefits to participating in the competition. The two-week challenge is an incredible opportunity for organizations to engage in creative teambuilding. They stimulate camaraderie and a renewed sense of company pride while also promoting health and wellness outside the work setting through teamwork and fun.
Another great reason to register your team is for the connection you can build with other local organizations. These games allow people to interact and get to know each other in a really unique way. It’s like an extended networking mixer for your employees with the added element of a friendly competition. You start recognizing the participants on other teams and before you know it, games turn into business relationships.
