Those of you who choose to read this Popcorn Stand know I look for any excuse to write about my dog, Tuf Tuf (you know Sir Tuffington something or other) the Jack Russell.

Well, when it comes to videos of Jack Russells — actually any kind of video — I’ve been made aware of THE BEST VIDEO EVER!

This video shows three cute little Jack Russells jumping over stacks of toilet paper, not bathroom tissue, toilet paper. I remember watching George Carlin once and he was talking about how things changed in his lifetime.

Like how trailers became mobile homes. “They don’t move, how can they be mobile homes?” Carlin asked.

He also noted at some point in his lifetime we started referring to toilet paper as bathroom tissue. But I digress.

Anyway these cute Jack Russells kept rising — literally and figuratively (those of you who read this column are probably saying don’t go off on that tangent again) — as the stacks of toilet paper got higher.

They jumped over one stack. Then two stacks high. Then three stacks high. Then four stacks high. They five stacks high.

Finally when the stacks of toilet paper became six high, the Jack Russells gave up — and proceeded to knock the stacks of toilet paper high.

Now this is a challenge Tuf Tuf would never be up to. One stack of toilet paper would probably be enough to stop him. He would stand at the stacks of toilet paper and start whimpering. He would eventually start barking as if it say “please remove this toilet paper so I can get by.”

Of course there were those who criticized whoever posted this video about how many roles of toilet paper they had during this difficult time. I counted the roles of toilet paper. Thirty-one roles of toilet paper were used. What is that depending on the number of roles of toilet paper in a package, 4 or 5 packages?

Now if somebody was trying to set a world record for the most roles of toilet paper jumped over by a Jack Russell and used like 100 roles of toilet paper, yeah that would upset me. But I have to admit at any other time I would find that awesome too.

I think during this time the joy people are getting out of that video far outweighs the fact that maybe a few too many roles of toilet paper was used to make a video that’s absolutely adorable. Still, Tuf Tuf, don’t try this at home. View the video here and enjoy: https://www. facebook.com/watch/?v=503810503832502
