LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Duran doesn’t want divisiveness
Thank you for printing my letter on May 12. It certainly demonstrates that the Porterville Recorder is unbiased and unselective in printing the opinions of its readers.
It further certifies that it upholds and values the principles of every American’s constitutional right of the freedom of speech.
Please note that the letter was not written to condone divisiveness, but as a challenge to anyone that condones the demeaning of a duly elected President. Above that it was written to the level the playing field in an era of misinformed “do as I say” closet disciples.
It is a fact that humans don’t like to hear the truth and when they do they attack the messenger. Consider what humans did to the Son of Man for speaking the truth. Humans tend to follow the same destructive habits of hate and it is evident by the treatment, belittling, insulting and damning of a man who is only trying to better their way of life and doing a good job of it.
If humans are so dissatisfied with the President’s leadership and accomplishments they should send back the $1,200 they received from the Donald John Trump administration. Better yet, cash the check and give the monies to someone who actually understands the meaning of unity.
Lastly I don’t believe that my words were for consumption, but rather for the purpose of rattling the human mind and challenging it to set a path with solutions instead of illusions and to create an invitation to a brighter tomorrow.
This “can be done,” in other words “Si Se Puede!” This, my dear, is UNITY.
