Three arrested on sexual assault allegations
Three people have been arrested by Porterville Police on sexual assault allegations.
Willie Jenkins, 65, Elizabeth Garcia, 20, and Anthony Molinero, 22, were arrested.
On Wednesday, Porterville Police’s General Investigations Unit supplemented by the department’s Neighborhood Crime Suppression Unit conducted a warrant arrest detail seeking subjects wanted for sexual assault. Many of these warrants issued were directly correlated to cases worked by members of the department.
A total of 17 targets were identified and at the completion of the day, three were apprehended without incident. The surrender of others has been coordinated as a result of the efforts and many were determined to have fled the country to avoid prosecution.
The three arrestees were booked accordingly into the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff on the corresponding charges.
Anyone with information related to these arrests is encouraged to contact Detective Cody Martin at (559) 782-7400.
