TREE Professionals live up to name

Thank you for once again allowing me to share a few thoughts with your readers.

Looking around in our world today, it is easy to look at all the negatives and overlook all the positive things going on in our community. I have had the challenge of searching out Tree Pruners for some trees that desperately needed a good clean pruning.. I would like to share with your readers here that I have found a local Tree Service called TREE Professionals! The Manager Daniel Mendoza and his crew of trimmers is doing a fabulous job! I am so pleased with their work and their total desire to do an excellent job, I just had to share them with your readers! I totally believe we have the very best of the best here in our Community of Porterville! Elaine Hayes/harris

Information on voting ballot Just a little reminder to the voters about your ballot.you should have received it this week. I received mine Wednesday, October 7. Let the elections office know if you did not receive it. Call 559624-7300.

I know you will fill your ballots correctly, however do remember to tear your stubs at the top of both pages. This is for those of us who are not voting in person because the helpers always did that for us before putting itin the machine.

The reminder at the top of each page has printing so small you have to put your glasses on and the perforation line is not that obvious.

Lastly remember that the polling places will be open October 31 through Monday, November 2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please pass information along to your neighbors and friends. Election day is on November 3.
