Merilyn (Lindy) was born on May 19I 1953 in Lindsayi California and passed to be with our Lord on December 4I 2020 at the age of 67.

Merilyn attended Washington Elementary­i Lincoln Junior Highi Lindsay High Schooli College of the Sequoias and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from CSUI Fresno.

During high schooli she was a member of the band where she became head majorette and twirled fire batons. She was also active in several clubs and was on the swim team.

Merilyn retired from Wilbur Ellis/orange Belt Supply Company after 37 years of service as their Bookkeeper and Office Manager.

Merilyn loved her Lordi husbandi familyi friends and pets. She enjoyed the outdoors and cherished her time in the mountains. Often times she would say she would much rather be mowing the lawn and planting flowers than cleaningho­use. She treasured her trips to the casinos with her family and travel with her sisteri Jackie. She valued the time spent with her grandchild­ren and great grandchild and always looked forward to their next visit. Her smilei laughi energy and joyous love for life will be remembered by all.

Committed to the philanthro­pic organizati­on for womeni Providing Educationa­l Opportunit­iesi she was a 12-year member of the Chapter EH of Lindsayi where she held several offices including treasurer this past term.

Merilyn was baptizedi confirmedi and married to her husband Jerry at the St. James Episcopal/ Anglican Church of Lindsayi CA where she was a lifetime member. She was truly loyal to God and her Churchi and served them well her entire life. There wasn't much she didn't take on and devoted much of her time to her church. The following are just a few examples of her dedication: she served on the Bishops Committee for several terms and was "Altar Guild Directress" for the Diocese of San Joaquin; she was a Sunday school teacher; a teen director; led the Altar Guild; was the church's music coordinato­r; and she wrote and produced the the newsletter for several years; she was instrument­al in coordinati­ng the Lindsay Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinners and hosted numerous congregati­onal gatherings and Christmas parties.

As a good friend of hers statedi "Merilyn will be missed terriblyi but we rejoice as we know she will hear the words from Matthew 25:23I 'Well donei my good and faithful servant.'"

She is survived by her husband of 46 yearsi Jerry Senior; her son Jerry (wife Candi) of Wardi AK; granddaugh­ters Jade (husband Trevor) and Brooke of Oklahoma; two great grandsonsi Jaxon and Roman; her sister Jackie Witzel (husband Ron); her niecei Rhonda Gostanian (husband Greg); nephewi Jason Wise and several great niecesi great nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parentsi John and Evelyn Mclees; great granddaugh­teri Sophie and niecei Missy Wise.

Private graveside services will be held at the Lindsay-strathmore District Cemetery. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
