PETS OF THE WEEK

“LUNA” and “LADY” Hi, our names are Luna and Lady and we are the Pet’s of the Week here at Porterville Animal Shelter. We are female Queensland mix dogs around 2-3 years of age. We are both very sweet and very bonded and would do best adopted together. We love each other and cry without one another. We tested well with other dogs and never bother any other dogs when the shelter staff let us out to clean our kennel. We know the command “sit”, and we are so good about going back to our kennels, when they put our food down we know it’s time to go back in. We love attention and we are very smart. We don’t like to go potty in our kennel, but we do when we can’t hold it anymore and it is normally in one spot. We love our blankets, we never chew them or pull them out of the bed because we know they are there to keep us warm. We would love to find a good home with good, kind, loving people. The prospective adopter may visit the animal control shelter and select the animal in which they are interested. After the animal is selected, the owner is required to complete an adoption contract.

The shelter is located at 23611 Road 196, Lindsay, and is open from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday. The phone number is 562-9515.
