Jason Scott Baker left this earth on December 30, 2020.

To the many friends and those who loved him, Jason Baker was known as a genuine man who was willing to help anyone in need. He was loved by all who knew him.

Even though Jason dealt with his share of adversity and health issues throughout his entire childhood and adult life, he was never one to feel sorry for himself. Rather, he never hesitated to offer a lending hand to others even with his own struggles. No matter his situation, his struggles, or the adversity he faced, Jason was always there for anyone who needed a hand.

What was important to Jason was the love of his family, his friends, those he loved, and his country. And of course, his love for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jason will always be remembered by those who loved and knew him as a man of integrity. He was a true friend to those who knew him and enriched their lives. Those who knew him were better people for knowing Jason Baker.

Jason was born and raised in Porterville. He worked with area youth for many years, coaching in Porterville Flag Football, Strathmore Youth Baseball and Porterville Little League Baseball. He also served as president of Strathmore Youth Baseball.
