Rene Longoria

-

Rene Longoria was born on July 13,1966 in Tulare, California. He was called home on January 11, 2021 at the age of 54 years old. He was the youngest of five boys to Israel Sr. & Juanita Longoria.

Although, several individuals claimed him to be a brother and great friend. Rene was a "go-lucky," ambitious, generous, and trustworthy man. He always had a smile on his face and could get you to smile even if you were having a bad day. He made everyone feel special, no matter who you were.

Within 54 years, Rene traveled the United States and different countries with his family and for business. When Rene wasn't traveling, he enjoyed playing golf; attending concerts; dove and squirrel hunting; BBQS with his Zone Air staff, family, & friends; supporting fundraisers and his friends' children's events; and talking on the phone. Sometimes, he would call just to hear your voice. Rene was a proud, single father to his daughter, Sierra. He shared his love for George Strait, Disney, and his family with her. Rene was a significant role model in her life, including his daughter's sister, Sequoia Brewer. Rene loved and adored Sequoia as his own. Rene loved his family and friends, especially his beloved animals. He never went anywhere (unless he had too) without his two poodles, Kitty & Sabrina. He also cherished his dog, Gordo, and his two cats, Chadwick & Elsa.

Rene was brilliant in the Air Conditioning and Heating field. In fact, he contributed his HVAC gifts and talents to the Tulare County community for over 30 years. In addition to his talents, he flipped homes with some of his close friends, repaired plumbing and electrical appliances, and gardened with his parents. Rene was compassionate about helping his family, friends, and anyone else who came to him for help. His family and friends remember him as the person who would gather around the BBQ to spew stories about his loved ones, his work ethic, and easygoing nature. Rene was so special because he was the type of person who would not only give the shirt off of his back, but also provide a place to stay if you needed it. Rene wore many hats in his lifetime, but he exchanged them all for a beautiful and welldeserved crown.

Rene is preceded in death by his brothers, Abel & Rolando Longoria, and his father, Israel Sr. Longoria. He is survived by his daughters, Sierra Longoria (Jonathan) and Sequoia Brewer; his mother, Juanita Longoria; his brothers, Israel Jr. (Rita) & Ernie Longoria; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
