Chris Phillip Berryhill was born in Lindsay, California August 25, 1947 to Eugene Richard Berryhill and Doris Roberta Mann Berryhill. He passed away September 1, 2021 at the age of 74. ,

Chris spent his early years in Strathmore before his family moved to Portervill­e and attended schools there graduating with the class of 1965 from PHS. He competed 4 years as a good athlete in football and basketball as well as being involved in student government. Chris attended Portervill­e College before going to Fresno State and graduating with a Business Administra­tion degree. During college in the summers he worked at Huntington Lake and Yosemite. Chris lived in the Clovis area until 2007 where he took care of his parents their last years and worked for Kovack Case and Quinn Caterpilla­r supplying equipment to loggers. He finally got the opportunit­y to use his business degree when he joined a high school friend, Jim Salmon, forming Action Technologi­es. Chris and Jim created various inventions that at times innovated products for people with disabiliti­es. The Foxbat, Air Zodiac, Rowcycle, lightweigh­t wheel chairs, are a few inventions that became popular and which Invacare purchased their interest two different times. Chris and Jim started a triathlon for disabled athletes in Fresno for its first three years. During their work with Invacare they met Arnold Palmer who was working to promote Invacare products. As a result they started thinking about golf equipment and came up with Action Technologi­es final invention the Ti Tees, a folding golf tee, which was enjoyed by many, especially Chris's golf loving family in Springvill­e.

Chris's final occupation was work for a drug rehab company in Southern California after he and Jim retired in 2007. Chris was a nondenomin­ational Christian who attend different services and bible study regularly. He believed in the power of prayer and the impact the Bible could have on a person searching for peace.

He is survived by his brother Eric, sister-in-law Pamela, his nieces Abigail Wiesel (Jim) and Sarah Crocker (Andy) their sons, Harrison and Connor Weisel and Thomas and Nolan Crocker as well as 8 surviving cousins. Chris and his long term companion Melissa Ewing began dating in 1991. Chris, Melissa Ewing, and her children Ali and Beau Ewing lived in Huntington Beach and Westminste­r the last 14 years. Chris enjoyed interactin­g with the above people in family activities and friends.

Chris was liked by all people who met him. A celebratio­n of his life will be held in October.
