Johnny Cruz Rodriguez Sr.

Johnny Cruz Rodriguez Sr. was born in Tulare County on March 15, 1969, to Cruz and Connie Rodriguez. He was raised in Tulare County, first living in Porterville and later moving to Lindsey.

Johnny is survived by both his parents Cruz and Connie Rodriguez, his ex wife, Plasida Longoria and fiance, Romena Cervantes, his daughters Jessica Kenny, Adriana Andrade, Alyssa Longoria, his son Johnny Cruz Rodriguez Jr. and his sisters, Susan Chavez and Sylvia Rodriguez.

Johnny was a grandpa to eleven grandchildren; Cruz Rodriguez, Jax Rodriguez, Santana Rodriguez, Zyon Rodriguez, Zerenity Valle, Koda Valle, Bexley Longoria, Eleanor Valle, Delilah Andrade, Bryson Andrade and Sarah Andrade. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Johnny was geuinely a humble and caring man with the biggest heart and unique personality. Johnny was always happy and full of joy when he was around his family. Johnny's hobby was working on model cars in his earlier years, he loved to attend car shows and enjoyed going to the cherry auction in Selma, and he would never deny a cruise in his 1953 Ford Victoria. Johnny was loved by so many people and left behind and abundance of memories that family and friends will cherish forever.

On Thursday, December 2, 2021, a viewing will be held at Myers Funeral Service and Crematory, 248 North E. Street, Porterville from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m. A church mass will be held on December 3, 2021 at Holy Cross, 1765 N, Newcomb, Porterville at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, 1013 E. Olive. Ave., Porterville.
