LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Pinter’s hatred of conservatives
Mr Pinter I have been reading your column for a few months now. Your knowledge and intelligence far surpass most of us that read your column each week.
I only made it past 3rd grade, so on a regular basis I have to look up many of the words that you use to describe your many observations of the political world. What I have observed however, is the extreme hatred towards conservatives that you continue weekly, especially those that supported the previous administration.
You claim that they are liars and ignorant, but if you asked the other side, they would say the same thing about the current administration. So, from this vantage point, there is no solution to settle this argument, but perhaps a better evaluation would be to ask what is the result of the last administration (robust economy, border control, oil and natural gas independence, law and order, promotion of minorities, support of allies, attention of our adversaries, high employment, low unemployment, reduction of food stamps and welfare, to name a few) so from here, I would like to see an explanation from your intellectual level, as to how the current administration had handled these issues.
Eight or ten paragraphs on this issue would be very enlightening rather than your eight to ten paragraphs on your vile hatred of conservatives. Oh, by the way, I’m sorry to hear of your physical state, but if you moved to Seattle, you could alleviate a lot of stress and avoid the deplorables that live around here in the Central Valley.
As a result of the hatred that I see weekly, I think I should read of those those that vote for the betterment of our country, either conservative or liberal, rather than those that support tearing the constitution and country down!
Your friend King,
