Thomas Alan Falconer passed away suddenly at his home in Fresno on May 6th, he was 66 years old. Tom was born in Portervill­e California on December 25, 1955. He grew up on the family farm starting to work at a young age during the summers.

Tom attended Rockford Elementary School, St. Anne's Catholic School and Monache High School in Portervill­e where he played football and baseball. Tom attended San Diego State University and graduated in 1982 from Fresno State University where he attained a bachelor's degree in business.

Upon graduation he worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor. Tom then switched careers going into telecommun­ications. He worked for Cellular One and later for AT&T Wireless. Tom left AT&T to start his own business, Time Finders, supplying cell phone devices and accessorie­s. In the later years of his fathers life Tom took up management duties of the farm in Portervill­e which was a great benefit to his father and the rest of the family. Tom also served on the board of directors of Harry Quinn Incorporat­ed, a family corporatio­n, and is a past board member of the Fresno Art Museum.

During his life Tom enjoyed tennis, golf, skiing, poker with his friends, fine cigars, works of art and travel. Above all Tom loved being around people and socializin­g with his friends and family. Tom was a very kind person who loved animals and was very devoted in caring for his cats.

Tom is pre-deceased by his parents Harry and Virginia Falconer and his sister Janet Marrongell­i and brother-in-law Rocco. Tom is survived by his sister Barbara Everts and brother-in-law Russ of Lietchfiel­d Park Aw, brother Robert Falconer and sister-in-law Mary Ann Warmerdam of Woodland CA, nephew Rocco James Marrongell­i of Sacramento CA, and niece Michele Marrongell­i of Wellesley MA.

Tom was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a true gentleman and is remembered by family and his many friends as one of the kindest most thoughtful people you could know.

Donations in remembranc­e can be made to your local SPCA. Burial will be private and a celebratio­n of life will be held at a date to be determined.
