On May 31, 2022, Margarito Lopez Hernandez Jr, aka Tiny, left to be with Our Lord. He fought a long battle with his illness and is now at rest.

Margarito was born on February 3, 1936, in Mcallen, Texas to Ameila Lopez and Margarito Hernandez. He married in 1956 to Rebecca Gomez Hernandez and they establishe­d their home in Woodville, California. They were married for 56 years, and together raised four children; Gracie (Fred) Lazo, Veronica (Roosevelt) Lewis, Annette (Joshua) Trujillo and Martin Hernandez. Their children blessed them with nine grandchild­ren and 10 great grandchild­ren.

Margarito was employed for over 50 years as a self-employed truck driver, which he enjoyed very much. He was dedicated to the business and worked very hard to provide for his family.

He has 6 surviving siblings; Ignacio Hernandez,

Rudy Hernandez, Jesusita Gonzalez, Gloria James, Richard Gonzalez, Robert Gonzalez and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Hernandez, parents Amelia Gonzalez and Margarito Hernandez, his brothers Alfonso Hernandez, Tony Gonzalez, and sisters Sandra Sanchez and Rosa Martinez.

Visitation and Rosary will be held Tuesday, June 14 from 5-7 PM at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, 127 E. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, CA. Mass will be held Wednesday, June 15 at 10 AM at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Tulare. Final resting place will be at Woodville Cemetery following the funeral service.
