George Randall Patterson was born October 24, 1933 in Green County, Illinois, and died in Portervill­e, California, on January 29, 2023.

He is predecease­d by his parents, Hal and Marie Patterson, and his beloved son, Mark Patterson. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sharon, and his children: Paul and Debbie Patterson, Andrew Patterson, Mary and Candido Rivera, and Joan and Michael Weatherfor­d. He is also blessed to be survived by grandchild­ren: Matt Patterson, Alexis and Hudson Knotts, Jennifer and Josh Woods, Katie and Sam Brown, Lindsay Patterson, Trea Patterson, Elias Rivera, and Gillian Weatherfor­d. His precious great grandchild­ren are Colton Knotts, Brenna and Danny Woods, and Grace Brown. His dear siblings are Mary Ellen Swanson, Irene Marconnet, Ilene and Ed Marconnet, and Perry and Susan Patterson. Uncle Randall was especially proud of his dear nieces and nephews. George Randall is a graduate of Saunemin High School, attended Blackburn College, and served four years in the United States Air Force. He served 29 years in the Federal Aviation Agency as an Electronic Specialist. His retirement was spent as an advocate of the mentally and physically impaired, the unborn, the elderly serving as an ombudsman for residents of elder living facilities, a Board Member of the Area Council on Aging, serving six terms on the Tulare County Grand Jury, and as a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.

His life was filled with the joy of family and friends, he is beloved.
