Things to do: Exeter’s American Independen­ce Festival, 4-H Summerfest

This is a great time to make the most of the summer by getting out this weekend. Head over to the Seacoast Rep to see “Hair,” experience Exeter's American Independen­ce Festival or Team Independen­ce Jam, or take a helicopter ride and check out the animals at the Stratham 4-H Summerfest.

Emo Night at The Press Room

What: Come scream with The White Belts who are headlining Emo Night. Ages 21-plus.

History of Creek Farm

What: Join The Forest Society Education Center at Creek Farm and take a step back in time for a PowerPoint presentati­on on the most recent history of Creek Farm.
