Drop-in gift wrapping party

DOVER — On Monday, Dec. 18 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. the Dover Public Library will be hosting a gift wrapping gathering for anyone who has gifts for the holidays to wrap. Paper, tape, scissors and ribbons will be provided. All you have to bring is your gifts ready to be wrapped in your own boxes.

Caregiver Cafe

DOVER — On Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 10:30 a.m. join Cornerston­e VNA for our monthly Caregiver Café to support Dover area family caregivers at the Dover Public Library. Come for a morning of support, education and conversati­on. Loved ones are welcome.

Candleligh­t vigil for unhoused in Portsmouth

All are welcome on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. to the North Church on Market Square in Portsmouth for an outdoor candleligh­t vigil for the unhoused. On the longest night of the year we remember and honor all those who have died with homeless in the state in the last year.

Lydia's House of Hope's sixth annual ‘A Night of Hope & New Beginnings' Gala

DERRY — Lydia's House of Hope's sixth Annual ‘A Night of Hope & New Beginnings' Gala will be held at LaBelle Winery on Route 111 in Derry on Friday, Dec. 22, from 5 to 10 p.m. Auction items include Patriots tickets, a week stay at a beautiful home in Florida, tickets to NH Motor Speedway, sports memorabili­a, a 15 person lobster bake donated by Taylor Lobster, and more.
