Reis lifts Portsmouth boys
STA freshman drains seven 3-pointers in win
PORTSMOUTH - Isaiah Reis scored a team-high 13 points, and Miles de longh and Princeton Daniel both scored 10 as the Portsmouth High School boys basketball team beat Londonderry, 74-50 on Tuesday in a Division I contest.
Portsmouth is now 2-0 on the season.
“Great win,” Portsmouth first-year head coach Tyrece Gibbs said. “Any time you can beat a program like Londonderry it’s always good.”
Portsmouth led 34-24 at halftime, and stayed in front of the Lancers for the entire second half.

HUDSON - Brady Rogers had 22 points and Nate McNeff had 19 but it wasn’t enough as Exeter fell in Division I play. Dylan Whelan added nine points for the Blue Hawks.

DOVER - Dover (1-2) erased a seven-point halftime deficit and rallied for this Division I win. Dover’s Dylan Jabre led all scorers with 13 points, while teammates David Cady and Sam Grube added eight and seven points, respectively.

SALEM - Sophomore Kyran Jeanpierre’s 14 points led Spaulding in this Division I loss.
Fellow sophomores Marcel Rose and Brayden Crittenden both scored 12 for the Red Raiders.
Memorial 58 Winnacunnet 54 MANCHESTER - Senior Tyson Khalil scored a team-high 17 points for Winnacunnet (0-3) in this Division I loss. Andrew Simmons added 14 points for the Warriors.

YORK, Maine - Reece Macdonald had 13 points and Lukas Bouchard had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Class B York (4-0) in this win over Class A Westbrook.
Connor Roberge and Derek Parsons both had eight points for York, which hit on seven 3-pointers.

WELLS, Maine - The Class A Hawks fell to 0-4 after this loss to Class B Wells.
Ronan Garrett led Marshwood with eight points and 13 rebounds, while Liam Tiernan and Ryan Essex both scored seven.

DURHAM - Ethan Brewer’s 22 points and five rebounds led Oyster River (2-1) to this Division II win.
Mason Kasperzak added 13 points and five rebounds for the Bobcats, while teammate Mason Jernigan had 11 points and six assists.

TILTON - Freshman Cole McClure drained seven 3-pointers and had a game-high 23 points as St. Thomas Aquinas improved to 4-0 with this Division III win.
The Saints scored the first 25 points of the game and never looked back. Senior Will Mollica added 10 points in the win.

EXETER - Sophomore Anna McGuinness’ double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds led Exeter to this Division I win.
McGuinness also had eight steals and six assists for the Blue Hawks. Teammates Karli Scherpf (17 points, four assists, four steals), Lexy Rogers (15 points, five rebounds, four steals) and
Ari Pompeo (nine rebounds) all contributed.

MERRIMACK - Lilly Nossiff had 18 points and 12 rebounds for Dover (2-1) in Division I action.
Freshman Avery Littlefield added nine points.
“We played tough team defense and work really well as a team,” Dover head coach Jimmy Flynn said.

DURHAM - Sophomore Alec Mitchell had three goals and Alex Santora and Brock Emery each had one for Winnacunnet in a Division II game Sunday at the Whittemore Center.
Ian McCormick and Noah Andronaco both had two assists for the Warriors, and Brady Thompson had one.
Winnacunnet goalie Owen Helton had 21 saves.
Cayden Giordani, Cole Lesvesque and Cam Miner all scored for the Bobcats. Miner, Talon Beyer and Camden Beaupre all had an assist in the loss.

DOVER - Bradley Wentworth and Shane Cullity each scored for the KnightHawks in a Class A contest Monday at Dover Ice Arena.
Marshwood goalie Ben Ott had 23 saves. The KnightHawks are now 2-2 on the season.
BOYS TRACK
Winnacunnet places third DURHAM – Senior Oliver Duffy won two events and the Warriors placed third in an eight-team meet Saturday at the University of New Hampshire.
WHS finished with a team score of 54, trailing Pinkerton (131.5) and Nashua South (70.5).
Duffy won the long jump (20 feet, 9 inches) and high jump (6-0), and placed second in the 55-meter hurdles (8.42 seconds).
Winnacunnet’s Ryan Zumbach won the 1,500 (4 minutes, 23.25 seconds), and Ryan Jamison placed third in the 55-meter hurdles (8.66).
Other top-five individual performances from Winnacunnet included Erik Marelli (55 hurdles, fourth, 8.66), and Owen Janetos (300, fifth, 39.39).
The 4x400-meter relay team, consisting of Nathan Dillon, Ben Mace, Sully Duffy, and Nick Bonesho, placed fourth in 3:57.19.
GIRLS TRACK
Winnacunnet places sixth DURHAM – Hayden Adams was first in the long jump (15-7) and was second in the 55 hurdles (9.78), leading Winnacunnet in an eight-team meet Saturday at UNH.
Winnacunnet placed sixth with a team score of 32.
Other top-five performances from Winnacunnet included Moxie Clifford (long jump, fifth, 13-11) and the 4x160meter relay team, consisting of Adams, Moxie Clifford, Maitri Clifford and Isla Christie, which placed second in 1:32.04.
