“Bloodshot” (7 p.m., 5:55 a.m., Starz): Based on a Valiant Comics character, this 2020 superhero action movie stars Vin Diesel as Ray Garrison, a Marine who is killed in action, then brought back to life with new superpower­s by an organizati­on that plans to use him as a weapon. Eiza González, Toby Kebbell, Guy Pearce and Lamorne Morris also star in the film, which launches a projected new cinematic universe, with Diesel expected to reprise his role in upcoming sequels.

“The Thomas Crown Affair” (7 p.m., TCM): Style is everything in the original 1968 version of this sophistica­ted crime story, casting Steve McQueen as an urbane Boston millionair­e who mastermind­s bank robberies for kicks. Faye Dunaway (who also was in the 1999 remake) plays the insurance investigat­or determined to get the goods on him — but she doesn’t count on surrenderi­ng her emotions in the process.

“Being Reuben” (8 p.m., CW): A new episode called “You Are What You Eat” finds mom Vicky reduced to taking some desperate measures to get her strongwill­ed children to change their deplorable eating habits. Meanwhile, as Reuben’s career begins to take off in a thrilling way, he falls into the predictabl­e trap of slacking off on his schoolwork to devote time to creating content for his avid fans.

“Lair of the Great White” (8 p.m., 12 a.m., Discovery): A team of experts launch an expedition to the waters of Western Australia in a bid to study the Great White sharks of the region and try to understand why these creatures seem to be exponentia­lly more aggressive than others of their species. Getting the answers they seek means the team must brave hostile weather.

“Tiger Shark King” (9 p.m., 1 a.m., Discovery): After a deep-sea camera captures chilling footage of a fierce, 14-foot-long tiger shark being subjected to a brutal attack by a large unseen beast, shark expert Dr. Austin Gallagher sets off on a search for the mystery creature to determine whether it’s a cannibalis­tic tiger shark, an unknown species of mega-shark or something else equally formidable.
