“Supernatural” (7 p.m., CW): In the new episode “Gimme Shelter,” Castiel and Jack (Misha Collins, Alexander Calvert) team up to investigate a case that involves the members of a local church. Meanwhile, Sam and Dean (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) embark on another road trip, a quest to find Amara (recurring guest star Emily Swallow), in the desperate hope that she will give them something they can use in their looming confrontation with her brother, Chuck (guest star Rob Benedict) — aka God.
“CONNECTING...” (7 p.m., NBC): As the friends continue to grapple with unfamiliar challenges during this weird new reality, Pradeep’s (Parvesh Cheena) struggle to procure a suitable dinner for his increasingly picky children reveals some deeper issues among the group. Meanwhile, Annie’s (Otmara Marrero) compulsive online shopping spree results in a surprising delivery. Keith Powell also stars.
“Buried in the Backyard” (7 p.m., OXY): A party in the woods outside a Pennsylvania coal mining town takes an unexpectedly chilling turn when someone goes missing in the new episode “Buried in the Woods: Friend Left Behind.” Investigators have more questions than answers, though, and when the summer thaw brings a shocking discovery, it’s clear someone is hiding a deadly truth.
“The Outpost” (8 p.m., CW): Wren and Janzo (Izuka Hoyle, Anand Desai-Barochia) succeed in solving a mysterious puzzle box in the new episode “The Peace You Promised.” Elsewhere, Munt and Tobin (Adam Johnson, Aaron Fontaine) manage to escape and go for help. Meanwhile, Talon (Jessica Green) learns a secret about the mystery of who abandoned her. Jake Stormoen, Reece Ritchie, Imogen Waterhouse and Jaye Griffiths also star.
“Flip or Flop” (8 p.m., 11 p.m., HGTV): Real estate experts Tarek El Moussa and Christina Anstead purchase, make over and sell still more of Southern California’s dilapidated properties, even as they navigate the challenges of co-parenting their kids — Taylor, 9, and Brayden, 5 — in a new season of this hit home improvement series. In the season premiere, Tarek and Christina find a small house in Lakewood, CA, to flip quickly. However, when they discover an unpermitted addition, they must bring the addition up to code or tear down the nicest part of the house.
“Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!” (8 p.m., 10 p.m., 12 a.m., 2 a.m., WE): The whole Braxton family reunites at Trina’s wedding, but Tamar is left to suffer the aftermath in the Season 1 finale, “Final Word.” Later, David finally decides to come clean and reveals all. Elsewhere, as an exhausted Tamar’s final days of production threaten to completely unravel, Mona steps in.
