Library offers programs for all ages

The Lake County Public Library system offers a variety of upcoming programs. “Teen Virtual Gaming:

Among Us,” for ages 11-17, will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday via the Lake County Public Library Zoom Room. Teen Virtual Book Club, for ages 12-18, will meet to discuss the book “Scythe,” by Neal Shusterman at 5 p.m. March 17 in the Lake County Public Library Zoom Room. Registrati­on is required. Virtual Storytime – “Mother Goose on the Loose,” for children birth through 23 months, will be offered from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. March 10, 17, 24 and 31 on the Lake County Public Library YouTube Page, bit.ly/LCPLstoryt­ime. Virtual Storytime – Middle Grade Book Tasting, for children in mid to upper elementary school grades, will meet to learn about a book and hear the first chapter from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursday and on March 18 and 25 on the Lake County Public Library YouTube Page, bit.ly/LCPL storytime. All books are available on Hoopla or Overdrive. Virtual Storytime – Book Breaks, for children in early elementary grades, will be offered from 10:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Friday and on March 14, 19, 21, 26 and 28 on the Lake County Public Library YouTube Page - bit.ly/LCPL storytime. “Learn to Draw in the Desert!,” a directeddr­awing program for children, will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday in the Lake County Public Library Zoom Room.
