U.S. Senator Mike Braun is on top of it again. Hiring unvaccinated Chicago police officers, what a great idea! If I am lucky, maybe I can hire Typhoid Mary as my kids nanny.
Mike Braun just likes to import things, cops being the most recent. Isn’t he the guy that was importing car parts for his business that were made in China but claimed they were “Made In The USA”?
People have been trying to figure out how to get rid of the bad apples on police forces for years. Who knew all it would take is to require them to get vaccinated in a pandemic and they would go away on their own.
Pretty soon, fiveyear old children will be getting vaccinated for COVID-19, but thousands upon thousands of macho police and other first responders are afraid to get it themselves. What a bunch of ninnies. They try to sell their defiance as a defense of their “freedoms” when it’s nothing more than an expression of their cowardice. What a bunch of shameless wimps.
Chicago police officers have a list of at least 50 rules they need to follow. Wearing the proper uniform and refraining from drinking alcohol on or off the clock are a couple of them. One rule requires that they live within the Chicago city boundaries. The police union decries the “loss of liberty “by having simply to declare if its members are vaccinated or not. Yet it is okay being told where to live? Choose your battles wisely. They are not being mandated to get the vaccine just to report their status, for everyone’s safety.
The congressional representative of the 3rd district in Indiana, ultra-conservative Republican Jim Banks from Columbia City, is pretending to be a member of the January 6th commission, even though he was denied membership on the commission based on his promise that he would do everything he could to disrupt its investigation. Banks, a thoroughgoing Trump groupie, is such a sorry, petulant little child. The voters of the 3rd district have a lot to answer for in electing him. What is wrong with them?
There aren’t “two sides” to your Constitutionally protected right to vote. But Republicans have passed hundreds of laws nationwide restricting Americans’ right to vote. That’s not just wrong. It’s outrageous, illegal, and dangerous to our democracy. If you’re a Republican, speak out against any attempts to limit the right to vote. If you don’t, democracy will die. History shows that dictators always claw their way to power by limiting the right to vote. Don’t ever think it can’t happen here.
We are at the point in this country where a woman doesn’t have the right to choose, real history isn’t taught in schools, voting is being restricted, the Senate won’t pass a bill for the good of the nation and lies are replacing facts and truth. All brought to you by the Republican Party and right wing media.
There are already approximately 393 million guns in the U.S., about 120 for every 100 people. But for gun rights advocates, that is not nearly enough. They want to be able to own more guns and guns that are more dangerous, and they want to be able to carry these weapons anywhere, just for the sheer joy and sense of power that it gives them to intimidate others. And even sometimes to shoot them. Don’t fool yourself into thinking that things will get better very soon. Conservatives on the Supreme Court are poised to give gun lovers everything they want. They’re probably afraid not to.
I am certain, if you were married you would have learned by now, calling people names is not appropriate. No woman would tolerate that behavior. No wonder you are so angry. You need some loving.
No, Joe Biden isn’t Donald Trump, and
thank God for that. In his term as President, Trump gave us zero action on the infrastructure and health insurance, and his inaction on the pandemic cost the nation countless lives and did enormous economic damage. Joe Biden inherited a ship taking on water, which is probably what hateful, spiteful Trump intended all along. The only clowns out there now are the Trumpies still flying Trump banners from their trucks and keeping billboards in their yards, and the real morons are the people donating money to crooked Trump or other Republican blowhards who’ve got their hands out for free money.
Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick offered a $25,000 reward to anyone who could bring forward proof of the kind of voter fraud Donald Trump claims cost him the election. Well, he’s had to pay out a $25,000 reward, but not to someone he thought he would have to pay. He’s had to pay a Democrat who provided evidence resulting in the conviction of a Republican who voted twice for Donald Trump!
