James Strong Jr. was born January 28, 1969, in Gary, Indiana to Ruth Janet Johnson and James Strong Sr. James made his transition April 25, 2022, at Gary Methodist Hospital by surrounded family. James was a Maintenance Supervisor with the Gary Sanitary District, dedicating 10 years of service. He was a
devoted husband, father and caring person to all in need. His amiable personality drew love from many people. He brought laughter to every life that he met. James enjoyed barbequing all year-round, he called himself “The Grill Master”. He loved spending time with family and friends, sharing family stories with each other. James is survived by his wife Evelyn Strong, three children Samuel Strong, Selena Strong, Jasia Strong and Zorie Roberts, along with two stepsons Tommie and Breon, one sibling, Selena C Strong and a host of loving grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Janet Johnson, father James Strong Sr, brother

Walton Jr., Raymond S.
Raymond Stephen Walton Jr left to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 16th, 2022, at the age of 66. He retired as a Lead Technician in 2020 after a successful 20 plus years of service with Metra. He loved bowling, seeing every action movie that hits the big screen and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Lillian and Raymond Walton Sr. He is survived by his four children Kelly (Carlos) Green, Raymond Walton III, Tashika (Les) Ford, Christyn (Todd) Howell and 8 grandchildren Carlos Green Jr, Kailyn Green, Kameron Green, Talaya Wright, Ayriez Bell, Kapri Labroi, Kamond Labroi and Harmonie Ward. Visitation is Friday, May 6th, 2022, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at Guy and Allen Funeral Home 2959 W. 11th Ave, Gary, IN 46404.
