Disney NHL Big City Greens Classic Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney+ & ESPN+, 6 p.m. Live
The Washington Capitals and New York Rangers are being transported from the Big Apple to Big City in the NHL Big City Greens Classic. The alternate presentation of the Capitals-Rangers game will feature live, real-time volumetric animation of players and teams modeled after characters on the animated comedy Big City Greens. The standard broadcast of the game airs on ESPN and ESPN+.

In the new episode “Family First,” the shooting of a federal corrections officer leads the team to an ex-Marine who has gone rogue ever since he returned from Afghanistan.
Superman & Lois The CW, 7 p.m. ■ Season Premiere
The third season of this DC Comics adaptation featuring Earth’s greatest superhero (Tyler Hoechlin) and his fellow journalist and wife Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) will open weeks after Superman’s defeat of Ally Allston (Rya Kihlstedt), when Clark and Lois are working at the Smallville Gazette and enjoying small-town life with their children.

In “Marathon-thon-thon-thon-thon,” when Abby’s (Melissa Rauch) fiance, Rand, learns she’s struggling to connect with Olivia (India de Beaufort), he encourages Abby to embrace a side of herself she rarely shows. Meanwhile, Dan (John Larroquette) teams up with Gurgs (Lacretta) to save his favorite thing in the courthouse: a bench.
Gotham Knights The CW, 8 p.m. ■ New Series
In this new DC Comics-inspired teen drama series, Bruce Wayne’s adopted son Turner (Oscar Morgan) is framed for his father’s murder, along with the children of various Batman enemies, and Gotham City turns into a powder keg of violence as these unlikely allies band together to form a new generation of crime-fighting vigilantes. Also starring Ethan Embry and Misha Collins.
