County Commission­ers to meet this morning

The LeFlore County Commission­ers will have their weekly meeting at 9 this morning at the LeFlore County Court House.

The board will look to approve a resolution regarding LeFlore County Treasurer April Caughern’s resale fund financial statement, approve a resolution regarding changing all rural fire department­s’ receiving officers from Kayla Curry to Tammy Hatcher and the requisitio­ning officer to all county clerk and general fund accounts, to approve a resolution determinin­g the maximum monthly highway expenditur­es for July, to approve a fiscal year 2022-23 contract between LeFlore County and the Community Works (Cleveland and Pottawatom­ie counties) for juvenile detention services, to approve a Kiamichi Economic Developmen­t District of Oklahoma (KEDDO) Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP) closeout documents and to possibly approve a resolution as submitted by the Federal Emergency Management Act (FEMA) regarding the county’s hazard mitigation plan.

The Commission­ers also will likely approve purchase orders, payroll, bonds, monthly fee reports, transfer of appropriat­ions, blanket purchase orders, contract labor/service agreements and two two ongoing bridge constructi­on projects — one a mile east of Shady Point over the Poteau River and the other on Brazil Creek Road south of Oklahoma State Highway 31 and west of Shady Point.

If there is any old or new business and/ or pay estimates due Robinson Constructi­on for work done on the final phase of the Conser Road Project, the board is expected to take care of these matters.
