Local students make UAFS Dean’s List

FORT SMITH, Ark. — Several local students were named to the 2022 spring semester dean’s list.

Students who made the list from Poteau were Ashby Avila-Gutierrez, Emily Barnes, Madeline Brennan, Karna Clark, Celeste Daily, Jenny Dixon, Cassaundra Huggins, Justyn Lynn, Nickolas Manifold, Katie Redhage, Sevin Riley, Angela Ritter, Mackenzie Slusser, Madison Slusser, Hanna Smith, Madison Smith, Michaela Thompson and Cailey Yochum, with Barnes, Clark, Dixon, Ritter and Mackenzie and Madison Slusser having a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.

Four Arkoma students not only made the dean’s list but had perfect 4.0 GPAs — Zoey Fuller, Jana Mathis, Leah Sheffield and Haven Spoon.

Bokoshe’s Kirsten Anderson, Isabela Doshier, Holly Farrar, Kassandra Jiminez, Mari Monks, Kassperlyn Woods-Mott along with Cameron’s Megan Gillham made the dean’s list, with Anderson and Gillham having perfect 4.0 GPAs.

Heavener’s Seth Anderson, Marlyn Cruz, Audrey Elder, Laura Fischer, Nicholas Ford, Mayra Garcia and Justin Stallings made the dean’s list, with Anderson having a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Howe’s Connor Morris, McKinlee Thomas, Nikita Wemmerus and Cassandra Wilson were dean’s list members, with Morris and Wilson having perfect 4.0 GPAs.

Also making the dean’s list were Pocola students Jeffrey Abernathy, Jordan Aikey, Abigail Duke, Mark Fulmer, Camryn Harvey, Rebecca Jones, James Moore, Delana Noahubi, Alissa Owens and Irene Torres, with Abernathy, Fulmer, Jones, Moore, Owens and Torres having perfect 4.0 GPAs.

Spiro students Justin Ennis, Juliet Flanagan; Jarod Gray, Brandon Hammontree, Lindsey Kenner, Jordan Pullen, Kyrah Rogers, Megan Sandlin and Andrea Zindler made the dean’s list, with Gray, Pullen and Sandlin having perfect 4.0 GPAs.

Shady Point’s Joanna Dubois and Brayden Treat, along with Red Oak’s Jacob Howell, not only made the list but had a perfect 4.0 GPAs.

Talihina had a trio of students make the dean’s list — Shawna Haddox, Haley James and Hailey McClain — along with Whitesboro’s Zachary Maxwell, with Haddox, James and Maxwell having perfect GPAs.

Wister had seven students make the dean’s list — Alixzandria Bowden, Ashton Durant, Whitney Frost, Isabella Law, Kylee Morris, Mary Stewart and Spencer Wells, with Bowden, Durant, Law, Morris and Stewart having perfect 4.0 GPAs.
