Softball Cameron beats WF, Arkoma

Cameron won 16-2 in three innings at Webbers Falls on Monday, scoring six runs in each of the first two innings.

Addyson Cornell had a double, two walks and three runs batted in. Ashley Montgomery was hit by pitch twice and walked. London Dyer walked twice.

Cameron won 11-2 at Arkoma on Tuesday. Olivia Russell went 3-for-4 with an RBI. London Dyer went 2-for-3 with a walk and three RBIs. Cheyenne McCormack went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Lainey Dyer allowed four hits and threw eight strikeouts. Arkoma’s Kaydence Batt homered.

Spiro beats Roland

Spiro won 7-3 at Roland on Monday. Layla Sons went 3-for-4 with two triples and an RBI.

Kami Autrey went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI. Autrey struck out seven batters in five innings as the starter. Desirae Reed struck out five batters in two relief innings.

Heavener wins one of two at Valliant

Heavener won one of two games in a triad at Valliant on Tuesday.

First, Heavener lost 3-0 to Valliant. Kinley Brand threw four strikeouts in six innings and went 2-for-4.

Mariana Garcia was 2-for-3. Brand went 3-for4 with an RBI in a 7-2 win against Soper. Heavener took the win with a sevenrun fifth inning. Cayleigh McGee and Meredith Smith both went 2-for3 with an RBI. Addley McAlester was also 2-for3.

Talihina splits on road

Talihina won one of two games in a triad at Porter on Monday.

Talihina lost 7-4 to Hulbert. The girls in black and gold led 4-2 in the top of the second inning, but Hulbert posted two runs in the bottom of the second and three in the fourth.

Cheyenne BearStops and Ashley McClard both went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Also, Talihina won 11-7 against Porter. Leah Dill and Camara Johnson both had two hits and an RBI, with Johnson also drawing a walk. Zayleigh Harper had a hit, a walk and two RBIs.

BV wins two in Colbert

Buffalo Valley won two games in at triad at Colbert on Tuesday.

First, BV beat Colbert 12-2. Cady Myers went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a walk. Courtney Grey went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI.

Later, Grey threw a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts and three walks in a 5-0 win against Wister.

She also went 2-for-3. Addi Wright had a hit and a walk. Wister’s Kaylea Underwood threw nine strikeouts while allowing five hits and four walks. Haven Brown had Wister’s lone hit and walked.

Wister falls at Colbert

Maggie Wilson threw 10 strikeouts in Wister’s eight-inning 6-5 loss to Colbert on Tuesday.

Brown had a double and four RBIs. Wilson and Jordan Makovy both went 2-for-4.

Arkoma falls to Quinton

Arkoma lost 14-8 to Quinton at home on Monday.

Arkoma had a four-run fifth inning for a 6-5 edge, but Quinton tallied a run in the top of the sixth to force extra innings before running away with eight in the top of the ninth.

Hannah Killion struck out five batters in 7.2 innings. Aubrey Walden had a hit and four walks. Kynleigh Sebo had two hits, two walks and an RBI. Hayden Harmon and Lexi Wells each drew three walks. Keota edged by Eufaula

Keota lost 3-1 to Eufaula at home on Monday.

Keota struck first in the fourth inning, but Eufaula scored its three runs in the fifth. Five Keota batters each had a hit.

Baseball Wister downs Whitesboro

Wister won 18-2 at home against Whitesboro on Monday.

The Wildcats scored 15 runs in the first inning. Tucker Wooten doubled twice and drove in a run. Dartyn Meeks doubled, walked and had three RBIs. Riley Crane was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Jayden Byars doubled, walked and had two RBIs. Shayne Mead had two walks and three RBIs.

Whitesboro had three hits and four walks.

LeFlore swept by Asher

LeFlore was swept in a doublehead­er at Asher on Monday. The Savages lost the first game 8-5.

After LeFlore tied it 4-all in the top of the fifth inning, Asher notched two runs each in the fifth and sixth innings. J.J. Cogburn walked three times and had an RBI. Torben Vocque went 3-for-4. Rabbit Holly hit a home run.

LeFlore lost the second game 8-7 in five innings. The Savages tied it with a three-run top of the iffth, but Asher scored the winning run on a wild pitch with two outs.

Cogburn walked three times. Vocque went 2-for3 with a walk.

BV splits at Stuart

Buffalo Valley won one of two games in a triad at Stuart on Tuesday.

BV won 18-8 against Vanoss. The Buffaloes broke away with a 10run fifth inning that was sparked by a run-scoring single by Donny Locke.

Brenden Champlin went 3-for-4 with a walk and three RBIs. .Jace Hunter went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Hunter Sparks and Clay Treannie each had a hit, a walk and two RBIs.

Hunter drew two walks while Hunter McPherson had a hit and two walks in a 6-2 loss to Stuart.
