Funeral service for Linda Kramer, 78, of Keota will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Church in Poteau with Rev. Sean O’Brien officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Poteau under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.

Linda was born March 10, 1944, in Mankato, Kan., to Phyllis Ethlyn (Powell) Soliday and Edward Huffman Coast and passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, in Carthage, Mo.

She was married to Joseph William Kramer on Oct. 14, 1967.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Tamara Lynette Kramer.

Linda retired from the Arkansas and Oklahoma Army National Guard as a registered nurse at the rank of Lt. Col. and continued teaching nursing for many years at Carl Albert State College.

She has a love for others who were less fortunate than she and a heart for service beyond the Army and nursing. She loved flowers, gardening and caring for the animals around the acreage in Keota. Linda was active in her home parish of Spiro for many years and enjoyed spending time with her grandchild­ren.

Survivors include her husband Joseph William Kramer, sons Terry Wayne Kramer and wife Cindy of Tyler, Texas, and Joseph Eward Kramer and wife Teresa of Joplin, Mo., sisters Patricia Kay Burns and late husband Ronald of Cimmaron, Kan., and Rosemary Ethel Butzine and Chuck of San Tan Valley, Ariz., brother James Coast and wife Sandi, grandchild­ren David Layton, Kathleen Kellar, Elizabeth Kramer, Daniel Kramer, Caleb Kramer, Sophia Kramer, Miriam Kramer, Margaret Kramer, Cecilia Kramer, Anthony Kramer, Joshua Kramer, Timothy Kramer and Zoe Kramer and great-grandchild­ren Trina Hartwick and Iris Kellar.

Viewing, visitation and recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023, at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
