Baseball Friday Talihina 5, Panama 4

Talihina scored four runs in the first inning and a run in the second for a 5-1 lead. Two Talihina runs scored on an error in the top of the first.

Panama’s Talan Fairless hit a two-run double during a three-run fourth that put the Razorbacks (17-3, ranked eighth in Class 2A) within a run.

Panama put two runners on base with two outs in the fifth and two on base with no outs in the seventh, but did not score either time.

Talihina’s Landen Griffith pitched three scoreless relief innings, allowing three hits and thrwoing two strikeouts to close the Golden Tigers’ road win. Cy Ammons had a hit and a walk. James Russell had a hit and an RBI and was hit by a pitch.

Panama’s Caleb Brewer had a hit and a walk and threw 11 strikeouts while allowing three hits and three walks and hitting two batters in the full seven innings. Boomer McClain

Kiowa 4, Heavener 2**

Bryce Early had a hit and two walks and threw three strikeouts in 3.2 innings.. Kenneth Putnam and Willie Dehart each had a hit and a walk.

Smithville 13, Heavener 10*

Heavener (5-17) led 7-6 through four innings, but gave up a four-run top of the fifth.

Jackson Clubb hit 4-for-5 with three RBIs. Hagen Ritter hit 2-for-4 with a walk and two RBIs. Bryce Morrison hit 2-for4 with a walk and an RBI. Canyon Ford walked and scored thrice.

Pocola 2, Wilburton 1

After the Diggers sclored in the top of the first inning, Pocola (7-9) tied it in the fourth and got the winning run from Drew Jones in the bottom of the seventh inning on an Aiden Howard single.

Carson Taylor had a hit, a walk and an RBI. Jones pitched 6.2 innings, allowing four hits and a walk while throwing seven strikeouts.

Howe 16, Eagletown 3

Howe (10-10) completed the road win with an 11-run top of the fourth inning. Ethan Dalton doubled twice, was hit by pitch twice and had an RBI.

Garrett Smith hit 2-for-3 with an RBI and was hit by pitch. Wes Toney hit 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Howe 14, Whitesboro 3

Aiden Scott pitched two innings and Dalton pitched an inning of a three-inning no-hitter. Toney hit a tworun triple in a seven-run third inning. Dalton hit 2-for-2 with a walk and two RBIs. Smith doubled, walked twice and had three RBIs. Whitesboro’s Ty Culley walked twice.

Webbers Falls 8, McCurtian 0^

Ben Bond was hit by pitch twice. McCurtain was no-hit and walked three times.

Braggs 9, Bokoshe 4 Keota 8, Gans 7^ Mason 12, LeFlore 0^^

Saturday Red Oak 3, Stonwall 0*

Denver Durant pitched the full seven innings to complete a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and a walk as the Eagles (16-9, ranked 15th in Class A) earned third place in the Stonewall Tournament. Durant landed 59 of his 89 pitches (66.3 percent) as strikes.

Cy Montgomery hit 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Reed Kauk hit 2-for-3 with an RBI and was hit by a pitch. Durant walked twice.

Kaytee Hood hit 2-for4 with a home run and two RBIs. Cady Ammons hit 3-for-3.

Saturday Caddo 13, Red Oak 1^

Abbie Tovar hit a home run.

Turner 4, Red Oak 3^

Red Oak tied it at 3 in the top of the fourth with a two-run double by Lexi Ober. Turner scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. Hood, Hayden White, Jayla King and Presley McClary each had two hits.
