FUN IS THE GREATEST LUXURY OF ALL: The Technically Stunning Bravo 72

Power & Motor Yacht - - EXPOSURE -

Rarely does someone break new ground. Rarely does someone go where no one has gone before. The new Bravo 72 does just that.

In the past ten years, Volvo has delivered more than 20,000 IPS drives globally. They are not limited to pleasure craft, more than a quarter of rugged offshore wind farm vessels worldwide for example are powered by Volvo IPS. In this same time frame Cheoy Lee has been active in the construction of azimuth stern drive tug boats using a similar technology. More than one hundred of these powerful vessels upwards of 5,000 horsepower and 70 tons pull are now working the globe, from the Panama Canal, to the mining ports in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand (see insert), Europe, Asia and South America. Cheoy Lee is more than f amiliar with pod drives and has now adapted them to t heir motor yacht l i ne.

It is this ability to utilize the best of proven technologies. And it is not limited to Volvo and Cheoy Lee. Designer Howard Apollonio used a proven hull, one that takes into consideration the ability of Volvo’s IPS in optimization its abilities. Composite engineering specialists Gurit spent countless hours in optimizing a structural arrangement that is strong, and backed by Cheoy Lee’s ten year structural warranty. Interior designer Sylvia Bolton installed a panoramic interior. Available TNT platform, zero speed stabilizers, carbon fiber sun shades, Seakeeper gyro, fuel polishing systems and more round out an extensive list of equipment designed around boating fun, whether at anchor or underway.

Technology is only good if it is backed up by the ability to be maintained. With every Volvo Penta engine comes one of the wide st service dealer network in the industry. The network of service dealers is present in more than 130 countries. As a Volvo Penta owner, you are never far from qualified service. And once you see the engine room, the impression that Cheoy Lee builds its vessels right would not be missed, for components are service able. The ability to service all components is backed up by CheoyLee’ s two year Limited Warranty. That combined with CheoyLee’ s 10 year structural hull warranty guarantees to keep FUN in yachting f or years to come.
