Millikan, the defending Moore League baseball champion, is headed for a showdown against rival Poly at Millikan on Monday.

Both teams, along with Lakewood, are undefeated in league heading into the fourth week of league play.

The Poly-Millikan game was originally scheduled for last Wednesday at Blair Field and then rescheduled to Thursday at Millikan, but was postponed twice due to field conditions after this week's heavy rain.

Here's a look at some of the area teams and how they fared Friday:

Millikan

The Rams improved to 7-4 overall and 2-0 in league with Friday's 12-1 win over Cabrillo at Blair Field. Millikan was led by sophomore center fielder Anthony Pack, who led off the game with an insidethe-park home run.

Millikan led 4-1 heading into the third inning and never looked back.

Meanwhile, seven pitchers combined to record 15 strikeouts and allowed only two hits against Cabrillo.

Minton finished 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a home run. Pack went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a home run. Senior outfielder Cameron Hegamin went 2 for 2 with an RBI. Senior first baseman Wyatt Ormonde added a three-run triple.

Poly
