No. 1 Georgia routs No. 20 Kentucky

Carson Beck passed for 389 yards and four touchdowns, Brock Bowers had seven catches for 132 yards and No. 1 Georgia cruised to a 51-13 home victory over No. 20 Kentucky on Saturday night.

The two-time defending national champion Bulldogs (6-0, 3-0 Southeaste­rn Conference) extended their winning streak to 23 straight games and are the SEC's lone unbeaten team this season.

Georgia has won 14 in a row over Kentucky (5-1, 2-1) and has victories in 33 consecutiv­e regular-season games, a streak that began Nov. 21, 2020 against Mississipp­i State.

Georgia scored on all six of its first-half possession­s and led 34-7 at intermissi­on.

The Bulldogs scored touchdowns in the first half on Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint's 40-yard catch, Rara Thomas' 15-yard catch, Oscar Delp's 5-yard catch and Kendall Milton's 5-yard run. Peyton Woodring kicked two field goals and added another in the third.

NO. 25 LOUISVILLE 33, NO. 10 NOTRE DAME 20 » Jawhar Jordan ran for 143 yards, scoring on 45- and 21-yard runs on consecutiv­e second-half possession­s, and the Cardinals won at home.

Louisville, at 6-0 off to its best start in 10 years, pulled away in a signature victory for first-year coach and former Cardinals great Jeff Brohm before a stadiumrec­ord 59,081.

Norte Dame (5-2) lost for the second time in three games. It had won 30 straight games against ACC opponents dating to 2017. NO. 2 MICHIGAN 52, MINNESOTA 10 » Will Johnson returned an intercepti­on 36 yards for a score on the host Gophers' second snap to spark the Wolverines' rout.

J.J. McCarthy completed 14 of 20 passes for 219 yards and had two rushing touchdowns to help Michigan (60, 3-0 Big Ten) stretch its conference win streak to 17.

The Wolverines have beaten Minnesota (3-3, 1-2) for the Little Brown Jug trophy 43 times in their last 47 matchups.

Michigan's Keon Sabb added a 28-yard touchdown return of an intercepti­on in the third quarter.

NO. 4 OHIO STATE 37, MARYLAND 17 » Kyle McCord passed for 320 yards and two touchdowns, Marvin Harrison Jr. had eight catches for 163 yards and a score, and the host Buckeyes beat the Terps.

Ohio State (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) didn't lead until Jaden Fielding kicked a field goal to put them up 20-17 late in the third.

After a punt by Maryland (5-1, 2-1), McCord tossed a 44-yard TD pass to tight end Cade Stover. The Terps gave up the ball on downs on their next possession, and four plays later McCord found Harrison for a 17-yard touchdown to push the Ohio State lead to 34-17.

Maryland's Taulia Tagovailoa was 21 for 41 for 196 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score.

NO. 5 FLORIDA STATE 39, VIRGINIA TECH 17 » Trey Benson ran for 200 yards, with touchdown runs of 85 and 62 yards, as the Seminoles triumphed at home over the Hokies (2-4, 1-1 ACC).

Florida State (5-0, 3-0) is perfect through five games for the first time since 2015.

Jordan Travis threw two touchdown passes to Johnny Wilson.

NO. 11 ALABAMA 26, TEXAS A&M 20 » Jalen Milroe passed for 321 yards and Jermain Burton caught two Dn passes as the Crimson Tide won on the road.

Burton had nine catches for 197 yards for Alabama (5-1, 3-0). Milroe completed 21 of 33 passes and was sacked six times.

The Aggies (4-2, 2-1) got within one score when coach Jimbo Fisher elected to have Randy Bond kick a 20-yard field goal with 2:11 remaining, but Alabama recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock.

NO. 14 NORTH CAROLINA 40, SYRACUSE 7 » Drake Maye threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Tar Heels stayed unbeaten with an easy home win.

Maye completed 33 of 47 passes for 442 yards without an intercepti­on for North Carolina (5-0, 2-0 ACC). The longest pass play was Kobe Paysour's 76-yard touchdown reception.

Syracuse (4-2, 0-2) had 221 yards of total offense.

NO. 16 MISSISSIPP­I 27, ARKANSAS 20 » Ulysses Bentley IV scored the go-ahead touchdown with 7:49 remaining as the Rebels put together two consecutiv­e fourth quarter scoring drives to rally past the visitin Razorbacks (2-4, 0-3 SEC).

The Rebels (5-1, 2-1) trailed 20-17 before Bentley's six-yard touchdown run.

NO. 23 LSU 49, NO. 21 MISSOURI 39 » Jayden Daniels threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns, ran for 139 yards and another score and rallied visiting LSU over Missouri.

Malik Nabers caught six balls for 146 yards and the go-ahead score with 2:58 to go, as LSU (4-2, 3-1 SEC) escaped a shootout.

Brady Cook threw for 411 yards and two touchdowns for Missouri (5-1, 1-1). Cody Schrader ran for three TDs.
