The big game this week is St. John Bosco taking on Mater Dei. Here is a look at the area's other top games today:

WARREN (5-2, 2-0) vs. DOWNEY (6-1, 2-0) Where, when: SoFi Stadium, 7 p.m.

Analysis: One of the biggest rivalries in Southern California has even higher stakes than usual this season because it will be the first high school game ever played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. Warren has scored at least 39points in each of its last five games. Madden Iamaleava completed all 11of his pass attempts last week for 275 yards and five touchdowns in Warren's 50-14win over Norwalk. Jordan Ross had two touchdown receptions and Jace Brown had a long touchdown catch. Downey has won six consecutiv­e games and beat Dominguez 34-14last week. Victor Morales had two touchdown runs and quarterbac­k Oscar Rios threw for 316 yards with two touchdowns. Sophomores Aidan Gomez and Oscar Aguilar each recorded double-digit tackles last week. Warren has won the last five meetings between the two schools.

JORDAN (5-2, 1-2) vs. WILSON (3-4, 2-2) Where, when: Wilson High, 7 p.m.

Analysis: Wilson was dominated by Poly last week but scored 42points in each of its previous two Moore League games. Laighton Scott V is averaging 110 yards per game and has nine touchdowns. Christian Chapman is averaging 107 yards per game with four touchdowns. Jordan snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over Compton last week. Jarret Nielsen completed 12of 15passes for 350 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns. Arizona commit Jordan Washington had 265 yards receiving with four touchdowns. Brandon Thomas forced a fumble and fellow freshman Kemari Johnson recovered the fumble for the Panthers. The game between these two teams last year was decided by three points and two years ago the game was decided by one point.

LOS ALAMITOS (5-2, 2-0) vs. CORONA DEL MAR (4-3, 1-1) Where, when: Veterans Stadium, 7p.m.

Analysis: Los Alamitos put forth a dominant performanc­e in a 62-14 win over Newport Harbor last week. Anthony League ran for nearly 150 yards with two touchdowns. Alonzo Esparza threw two touchdown passes and ran for another. USC commit Isaiah Rubin returned an intercepti­on for a touchdown on the second play from scrimmage. Corona del Mar scored a season-high 41 points in a rout of Fountain Valley last week. Boise State commit Kaleb Annett leads the Sea Kings at quarterbac­k. Christian Brooks leads the Corona del Mar defense along with Colin Pene and Thomas Telesco.

BELLFLOWER (5-3, 2-0) vs. PARAMOUNT (3-4, 1-0) Where, when: Paramount High, 7 p.m.

Analysis: Paramount is the new team in the Mid-Cities League after being relegated from the Gateway League where the team went 0-5last season. Running back Tyler Goodman is capable of big plays and had a long touchdown run against Compton. Bellflower has scored at least 44 points in each of its last three wins. Tristan Green had two rushing touchdowns for Bellflower in its win over Firebaugh last week and Kamarion Flores added two touchdowns. Marvin Williams has 1,208 yards with 14 touchdowns this season. This game might decide who wins the MidCities League championsh­ip. The two teams have not played since 2013.
