Cut each F square on both diagonals to make 12 F triangles and each G square in half on 1 diagonal to make 4 G triangles. Set aside 2 F triangles for another project. From white print: • Cut 6 (27/ 8" by fabric width) strips.

Subcut strips into 72 (27/ 8") D squares. • Cut 5 (21/2" by fabric width) strips.

Subcut strips into 72 (21/2") E squares. From dark blue print: • Cut 6 (21/2" by fabric width) H/I strips. • Cut 6 (21/4" by fabric width) binding strips.

Note: For directional fabric, cut 2 (21/2" x 57") H strips along the length of the fabric. Subcut the remainder of the width into 3 (21/2" by remaining fabric width) I strips and 7 (21/4" by remaining fabric width) binding strips.

Sew a C-D unit to opposite sides of a B square to make a side unit as shown in Figure 3; press. Repeat to make a total of 72 side units.

6. To complete one Starry Eve block, select one A square and four each E squares and side units.
