You can use a Strip Tube ruler to make the C-D triangle units. The basic method involves joining two fabric width strips of different colors along the length and then using the ruler to cut the unopened strip into triangles using the ruler. This method results in units that have bias outside edges, so you have to be very careful not to stretch them when using in your project.
