Your Next Best Friend: Sophia

I was named for Sophia Loren; the folks at RAWL wanted me to feel beautiful. I was abandoned, lost almost half my normal weight of about 80 pounds, and had some nasty eye problems. I’m a female cane corso, also known as an Italian mastiff, and am 4 years old. I am a gentle dog, well-behaved and affectionate. I’m ready to go to my new home and enjoy a life where I will never know hunger, lack of medical care or an absence of love again. This week, two of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners.
