Shop Like a Lion
Larry Grove, president of the Rappahannock County Lions Club, and Jim Blubaugh, chairman of the Lions Club Foundation, attended the Rappahannock Fire Association meeting last week to distribute $400 checks collected from the Shop-Like-a-Lion Amazon program. For every dollar spent on Amazon.com through the Lions Club website (rappahannocklions.org), the Lions Club receives 4 cents, which it then donates to Rappahannock’s volunteer squads. To date, the club has distributed more than $6,000 to the departments. You can help by shopping Amazon through the Lions’ website.
