Virginia M. Krebs

Virginia May Krebs, 84 of Bealeton, VA passed away on September 7, 2016 at her home.

She was born on January 17, 1931 at Warrenton, VA a daugter of the late Arthur E. Welch and Eva May Thompson Welch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Cornell Krebs; two brothers, Julian T. Welch and William P. Welch; her stepsister, Ora Davis Cowgill.

Mrs. Krebs was a former Head Cashier for A & P Grocery Stores in Warrenton and Front Royal. She was an active member of St. Luke´s Episcopal Church in Remington and enjoyed her service as an election official at the Polls at Bealeton. She was also a member of the Bealeton/Remington Homemaker´s Extension Club.

She is survived by her husband´s children, David Krebs, Bealeton, VA, Earl Krebs, Clayton, CA, Betsy Krebs, Lake George, NY, Margaret Krebs, Philadelphia, PA, Katherine Maniz of Salisbury, MD; and Mark Krebs of Phoenix, AZ; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at St. Luke´s Episcopal Church, Remington.
