This weekend’s annual art tour (see the story at right) brings many visitors, and possibly houseguest­s, to Rappahanno­ck. A few ideas for entertainm­ent this weekend:

Friday: “Rosenwald,” the remarkable story of a Jewish partnershi­p with African-American communitie­s, screens tomorrow at 8 p.m. at the Little Washington Theatre, co-hosted by Scrabble School Preservati­on Foundation, Rappahanno­ck Historical Society and RAAC, with a post-film Q&A featuring Stephanie Deutsch, historian and author appearing in the film. Saturday: Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue’s Texas Hold’em Charity Tournament starts at 4 (check-in at 3). Buy-in is a $50 donation and includes your meal. There are some coveted prizes, most of which come with a scope. Tickets at the door. Limited to 60 players age 18 or older. Donation is nonrefunda­ble. Later Saturday, the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington's Potomac Fever vocal ensemble performs 8 p.m. at Little Washington Theatre. Sunday: Grammy-nominated music historian John Hasse is joined by members of the Smithsonia­n Jazz Masterwork­s Orchestra Octet in a discussion and performanc­e of the music and life of jazz legend Miles Davis, 4 p.m. at Castleton’s Theatre House (663 Castleton View Rd.).
