Marguerite Dunn departed this glorious life on October 21, 2016. She was affectiona­tely known as Margaret, Mama D, Margo and Ga Ga. Margaret was born April 30, 1956 in Memphis Tennessee to the late Willie Bell Dunn and Willie A. Dunn. She was the sixth of eleven siblings. She graduated from Rappahanno­ck County High School in 1975. She attended Lord Fairfax Community College and Sunbridge College. She was a faithful loving proud mother to her three girls, Hope, Ashley and Vanessa. Margaret was also a devoted loving proud NaNa to her granddaugh­ter Marley who she considered her heart. Margaret was a dedicated talented hard worker. She taught at Hearthston­e school for 16 years. Teaching various classes throughout the years that included cooking, life skills, sewing and anatomy. She was a gifted seamstress for most of her life. Margaret started cooking at the age of 5 in the kitchen with her mother. Her love for cooking grew over the years and turned into a passion. She was a cook/chef for many restaurant­s in Rappahanno­ck County throughout the years. Margaret was preceded in death by her bother Melvin Dunn, and her sisters Dorothy Fletcher and Gloria King. Margaret leaves to cherish her memories three daughters: Hope Dunn, Ashley Dunn, and Vanessa Dunn; one granddaugh­ter: Marley Dunn; seven siblings: William Dunn, Vera Dunn, Ruby Frye, Mae Robinson, Irene Jackson, Doyle Dunn and George Dunn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who she loved and cherished very much and a host of special friends and former students. Margaret will always be remembered for her contagious laugh, bright smile, warm hugs, huge heart and positive spirit. She was a loving Mama, NaNa, Sister, Auntie, Friend and Teacher.
