‘Right man for the job’

-

Iread with interest your recent article describing the upcoming Culpeper Candidate Forum for the 18th District. As a Marine Veteran, to me, there is only one choice in the coming election for Delegate in the 18th District, and that choice is Will King, the Independent candidate.

Will is a veteran, and a retired law enforcement officer. In our current environment, I believe we need someone to represent us that understands our times and the challenges we face. I believe Will’s service in the Navy and the Air Marshals, and the [U.S.] Capitol Police make him unique among the candidates in the 18th. Through his service, he understands the challenges that face our communities and the need to keep us safe.

That of course is not enough. I would tell you that his ability to listen and formulate an independent opinion are key to his make-up. He’s not going to be voting party line with either the Democrat or Republican parties. He is also not taking any corporate donations. He’s going to do what is right for the people of District 18 and what is right for the people of Virginia.

I hope you will join me, and other veterans in electing Will King our delegate to represent the 18th District. He's the right man for the job in these challenging times. ERIC KNIGHT Stafford
