➤ The Rappahannock County Garden Club’s annual Holiday Greens Fundraiser is underway and continues through Nov. 20. All items are made with local greens, pinecones and berries. Proceeds are used to send local children to nature camps and to fund college scholarships for Rappahannock County High School students. Orders will be available for pickup at the Washington Fire Hall on Nov. 29, from 2 to 5 p.m., and Nov. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon. These greens are a wonderful way to decorate your home for the holidays while supporting our community. Quantities are limited, so place your order soon!

➤ Virginia Cooperative Extension is offering a
Child Care Providers
training session on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Galbreath Marshall Building, 1401 Old Fredericksburg Rd., Culpeper. Participants will receive
4.5 hours of training credit for attending. The topics presented will be “Adaptations and Abilities” and “Transitions in the classroom.” The cost is $5 per person. Registration deadline is Nov. 3. To register, call the Culpeper Extension Office at 540-727-3435.
➤ The Rappahannock Clergy Association is sponsoring a bereavement group for folks struggling with grief over the death (recent or not) of a loved one, be that a parent, spouse, child, best friend, etc. This group will be facilitated by Danny Wilson, trained and experienced in facilitating such gatherings. The group is scheduled to meet for 6-8 weeks, every other Thursday from 10:30noon. A local meeting place will be determined soon. Attendance in all or most group sessions is required. ➤ The Blue Ridge Chorale
