Ben Venue Farm provided scenic space and then some for a spectacular 12th Annual Rappahannock County Fourth of July, organized once again by Sperryville Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Thousands of locals and visitors alike flocked to the daylong festival, and by the rockets red glare at dusk the thermometer had cooled down to where it was downright comfortable.
