FLAGS IN FOR MEMORIAL DAY: Flags in for Memorial Day is an annual tradition where volunteers come out to Culpeper National Cemetery to help lay small decorative American flags on every gravesite of 11,000-plus veterans. Everyone is encouraged to join the staff at Culpeper National Cemetery in helping honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for this Nation. Placement of flags will begin at 8 a.m. on the historic side of the cemetery and continue until every gravesite is decorated with an American flag.
