Deputy support for Graham
Mary Graham is a lifelong Virginia resident and has been a member of the Rappahannock community for over a decade. Mary was appointed as Commissioner of the Revenue by former Commissioner Sharon Dodson. In her three years as a deputy Commissioner leading up to her appointment, Mary developed new and more efficient procedures and materials to help bring our office into the 21st century and save money for the county.
Mary has:
▶ Helped reduce spending by decreasing need for staffing 25 percent
▶ Plans to phase out redundant reporting systems and contracts
▶ Made information about our programs more accessible and transparent
▶ Established Rappahannock’s first ever Commissioner of the Revenue Office webpage on the county website rappahannockcountyva.gov/ revenue
Mary’s experience, expertise in computer technology, and in-depth knowledge of the Virginia and Rappahannock codes continue to make her the most qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Commissioner. As an individual, Mary is an avid supporter of local farmers, a nature enthusiast, and a Rappahannock business owner. A vote for Mary is a vote for conservation of Rappahannock farmlands and traditions. Her goal is to utilize her knowledge of computers and her love of rural Rappahannock to better serve and preserve our county. This fall, please vote for Mary Graham as Commissioner of the Revenue, a candidate that has all of our best interests at heart.
