MONSTER MASH EVENT:

RCES PTO is hosting a Monster Mash Event from 6:30-9 p.m. Trick or Treating will take place at 7:45 p.m. in the back parking lot behind the school. Other activities include kids' costume contest, S.T.E.A.M Activities, kids' obstacle course, and more. To enter the event, please use the cafeteria door by the playground. Everyone is invited!

WILLIS CHAPEL BREAKFAST:

Old fashioned country breakfast buffet from 7 to 10:30 a.m. at Reager School (beside the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church), Huntly. Cost is $6, $3 ages 12 and younger. To benefit Willis Chapel United Methodist Church.

SOAP BOX DERBY YARD SALE:

Rappahanno­ck County Soap Box Derby drivers will hold their annual yard sale from 7:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall, Washington. A variety of quality items will include electronic­s, kitchenwar­e, glassware, a large assortment of Christmas decoration­s, furniture, and antiques. Donated items welcome. BOOK BARN ANNIVERSAR­Y:

Drop by the Book Barn from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help celebrate 11 years in Rappahanno­ck County! There will be refreshmen­ts, special prices and a drawing for Book Barn gift certificat­es. Get a free music CD with a purchase. The Barn is open every Saturday. All proceeds go to the Rappahanno­ck County Public Library.

CRAFTS WORKSHOP:

Halloween Crafts for Kids Workshop from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hearthston­e School, Sperryvile, for ages 3 to 5 and 6 to 12. Cost $50 per child.

EXCEL AWARDS:

Women in Worship (WIW) Ministries announces the 2019 “EXCEL” Award Honorees at 12 noon at an Honors Luncheon at Germanna’s Daniel Center, 18121 Technology Drive, Culpeper. The Event is co-hosted by the Women’s Auxiliary of the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist

Associatio­n, Rixeyville. TEXAS HOLD 'EM:

Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue will be having a Fall Texas Hold 'em Charity Tournament at their station. Check in begins at 3 p.m. and the tournament will begin promptly at 4 p.m. Buy in is a $50 donation and it includes your meal. First prize is a Ruger American 243 Rifle, Second prize is a Remington 870 12 Gauge, Third prize is a Savage MKII FV 17HM2. Tickets can be purchased at the door. SPECTACLE 2019:
